Natalia Buza is a University Lecturer in the Department of Border Security, Migration and Asylum, Faculty of Law, Administration, Public Order and Security, at the “Ștefan cel Mare” Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.

With more than 15 years of experience within the Border Police, she has held operational and leadership positions at the Palanca and Tudora-1 border crossing points, the General Directorate for Border Control and Chișinău International Airport.

Her expertise covers border control, travel document examination and document fraud detection, passenger profiling, second-line checks, risk analysis, migration management and integrated border management. Today, she brings this extensive frontline experience into the academic training of future border security professionals.

At FRONTLINERS 2026, Natalia Buza will contribute a valuable perspective connecting operational border-control experience, document examination and professional education.
