Marius Ionescu, Founder and President of FRONTLINERS, and Andrei Bogdan — both officers with Iași County Police Inspectorate – Inspectoratul de Poliție Județean Iași — participated as speakers at CITIV 2026, the third International Congress against Illicit Vehicle Trafficking, Documentation and Technology.
Held on 21–23 October at Universidad Miguel Hernández in Elche, Spain, the congress brings together expertise in police cooperation, vehicle crime, document examination and new technologies.
For FRONTLINERS, the connection is fundamental: document fraud and vehicle crime cannot be examined in isolation. Detecting a forged document, establishing a vehicle’s true identity and recognising indicators of cross-border criminal activity require technical knowledge, practical experience and cooperation between professionals.
Participation by officers from Iași County Police Inspectorate reinforces the value of bringing frontline expertise into international professional dialogue — and making that exchange relevant to everyday police work.
