Axel Vonderhagen is Sales Manager at OVD Kinegram, with over 25 years of experience in Government Solutions. He has managed more than 30 international projects involving PKI-based national eID, Digital Tachograph and Biometric Passport solutions.

Since joining OVD Kinegram in 2024, he has worked with national and security printers and integrators across Europe, developing security concepts and strategies for highly secure government documents and advancing identity protection technologies.

At FRONTLINERS 2026, Axel will lead the hands-on workshop “The ‘Must-Know’ Verification of First-Line Security Features of DOVIDs”, focused on recognising genuine optical effects, examining them correctly and identifying deviations that require closer attention.

His extensive experience connects advanced document security technology with the practical decisions frontline officers must make when verifying identity documents.
