Oleksandr Bryhynets is Chief of the Information and Analytics Support Unit and forensic expert at the Main Forensic Centre of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

After graduating from the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in 2009, he began his service at Boryspil Airport, working in border control and security. In 2014, he joined the Main Forensic Centre, where his work focuses on information support for border control units, document alerts and bulletins, the processing of notifications regarding detected signs of forgery, and information exchange with foreign law enforcement agencies.

Oleksandr is an expert in Forensic Document Examination and Forensic Facial Recognition and Comparison, with practical experience examining driving licences, vehicle registration documents, passports and other travel documents encountered during border control.

Since 2015, he has also been actively involved in training first- and second-line border control inspectors and developing specialised teaching and learning materials.

His international experience includes specialised training in Public Key Infrastructure at the ID-Centre in the Netherlands, participation in international professional forums and conferences, and, since 2024, representing the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine within the Frontex FIELDS project.

At FRONTLINERS 2026, Oleksandr will share his practical expertise in forensic document examination and forgery detection.
