Floris contributes advanced operational expertise at the intersection of vehicle identification, licence plate intelligence and frontline enforcement practice.
As an Inspector and Officer of the Judicial Police, and Deputy Officer of the Public Prosecutor, he serves within the CGI-SPOC of the Belgian Federal Police, with experience connected to Sirene Brussels, NCB Brussels – Interpol and the ENU – Europol Unit.
With more than 15 years of field experience in Belgian and international law enforcement, his work focuses on vehicle registration systems, plate recognition, traffic intelligence and vehicle-related criminal patterns, turning technical knowledge into actionable frontline capability.
He lectures at police academies and international seminars, and his contribution has been recognised by Frontliners, Interpol, ANVU, ROADPOL and multiple national police services. In Belgium, he was awarded the Golden Palm by Royal Decree and inducted into the Order of the Golden Palm for his work through the License Plate Guide.
