With 23 years of service in the Local Police of Rovigo, Italy, Riccardo Evangelista is a specialised forensic document analyst and the Technical Manager of the Rovigo Local Police Document Fraud Unit, “Polo Falso Documentale”.

An expert document examiner for more than a decade, he works closely with leading institutions, law enforcement agencies, document producers and developers of security solutions.

Riccardo has delivered specialised training to Italian and international law enforcement officers, including personnel from the Local Police, Carabinieri, State Police, Guardia di Finanza and Penitentiary Police.

His international training experience includes programmes for the Embassy of Canada, the North-East Customs Agency and UNODC, covering document examination, forgery detection, visual identification and the illicit trafficking of vehicles.

He is also the co-creator, organiser and speaker of “Il Falsario”, now in its seventh edition—a three-day specialist programme dedicated to intensive training and the exchange of good practices among law enforcement agencies, document experts and security-industry professionals.

At FRONTLINERS 2026, Riccardo will share practical expertise in forensic document analysis and fraud detection, shaped by extensive frontline experience and international cooperation.
