Some careers are built around one specialisation. Others are shaped by seeing policing from almost every angle.

Falk Hecht began his career as a police officer in Germany in 1992. Over more than three decades, his professional path has taken him through riot policing, patrol and response, the Mobile Task Force, investigations targeting biker gang crime, leadership within a Special Tactics Unit, patrol supervision and criminal investigations into juvenile delinquency.

Then came the field that would define the next major chapter of his career: forensic document examination.

For the past 18 years, Falk has worked as a document examiner, developing extensive operational experience in the examination and assessment of identity and security documents.

Since 2025, he has served as Head of Forensic Document Examination at the Central Criminal Investigation Department in Hanover, Germany.

At FRONTLINERS 2026, he brings something particularly valuable: not only specialist knowledge, but the perspective of an officer whose career connects frontline policing, criminal investigation, tactical operations and forensic document expertise.

Because understanding document fraud is not only about understanding the document. It is about understanding the operational reality behind it.
